The Step Up

Meaningful design with purpose

The Step Up is a non profit organisation which provide vital educational and psychosocial support to children and youth who have fled war and violence during a humanitarian crisis. Their programme offers English language skills, educational activities, life skills, health and hygiene workshops and vocational training.

They approached me during the summer of 2020 to design and illustrate an educational activity booklet for refugee children in Ethiopia. The booklet contain maths and English activities with original illustrations and patterns.
